OK, so I must be doing something wrong. I paid for the Webmaster Premium Subscription and have nothing to show for my money. Using the emails provided by PayPal, I get returns from Localendar saying come here. WHY? What is a forum going to do to square away a bookkeeping issue?

This is NOT the way to foster business arrangements. This type issue needs to be addressed right away. OK, so if I did something wrong, why wouldn't Localendar email me using the email address I have with PayPal? THAT's Proactive!

But this sure doesn't make me feel comfortable.

SO - how many webmasters actually use this product for MULTIPLE customer's websites? Happy with this product?
Happy with the "service" that so far seems scant?
Did you change to a different tool, and if so what and why?

mc7,

While we have no problem with open discussions on the forum, the "troll-related" posts are not in the spirit of the community we wish to inspire here. I'm going to clean those up.

We are looking into the subscription activation issue. Paypal appears to not be sending notifications correctly via their IPN (Instant Payment notification) interface. We are also a little short-staffed due to the holiday season.

Your account is still on a free trial of Premium Webmaster until 1/1/14, so your comment about "Still no Premium Service" is a little strange. What do you think you should be seeing but aren't?

1. If you refer to my email you'll see the PayPal payment confirmation. From reading numerous posts there appears to be a common denominator regarding you and PayPal.

2. With the Demo, I cannot create and upload my own graphics - message says I need a Premium subscription - so I paid for Webmaster Premium on December 10, 2013. It is now
December 18, 2013.

3. This question has yet to be answered: Why on Earth are financial issues discussed on an open forum? My subscription issue is not a public topic. This is not how real businesses handle this sort of problem. You SHOULD have a customer service email address.

1. Even though paypal may be sending subscription emails out, that does not mean that IPN (Instant Payment Notification) is working correctly behind the scenes. That is the mechanism for activating subscriptions.

2. Yes; uploading graphics is the one feature not covered by the free trial

3. Like many websites, we don't do an open email address because of the amount of spam. It's also impossible to correlate the issues and direct them appropriately if they aren't categorized. That's why there is a "Contact Us" link on all our pages. You can send us a message this way, and you can select the topic (one of which is "Subscription Activation")

Also, if a member chooses to ask about an account issue on the forum, we aren't going to tell them to "fill out our contact form" unless there are privacy or security issues. Instead, we're going to focus on answering their question instead of creating bureaucracy. If posts like "how to pay for a subscription" or "can you credit my account" bother you, I suggest you ignore them.

All pending subscriptions/renewals should now be active. If you still aren't seeing your subscription, please log our and back in again. And if not after that, please let us know.
