Just tested it, and this functionality is working fine.
The emails will come from "calendar_monitor@localendar.com" and be delivered to the email address you have set under Options->Security.

Please check that email and your spam folder, and let us know if you still have problems.

Quick question: Do you happen to be a Comcast user? They have been rejecting localendar emails and we are working with them to address this problem.

Thanks for checking this out for me. I did a search in all mail boxes and the last email notice I received was on August 26, 2013.
I have had to check the calendar each day and look for new events, or get irritate emails from members about there event not being posted.

I do not use Comcast.

I tried to test the system my self adding an event to the calendar and I did not receive any notification.

Please help.

As I mentioned in a different post today, some email systems are checking reverse DNS information to filter incoming emails.

I am sure that localendar email alerts are going out correctly base on our testing.

We are working to configure reverse DNS correctly on our side to make sure ISPs do not reject our mails for this reason. You might also consider contacting your service provider to make sure emails from localendar.com are whitelisted (there may be other reasons they are blocking our messages)
