How do I change the color of the background on the block of text surrounding the event. See http://rcsphotoservices.com/calendar-3/ I am using the default block calendar layout. This yellow does not conform to the colors of my web site. It seems there are ways to change everything except the background surrounding the event. Am I missing something? Thanks! |

You can change the background color of individual events right on the Event Editor. You can also define a custom category with an assigned background color. Click "Edit Categories" next to the category dropdown on this form. You can also change default event highlight, text colors, etc by clicking Options->Colors and selecting the Events tab. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thanks for your reply. I clicked on OPTIONS | COLORS and set the colors I wanted for the background and text. Looks great in the Options view. A burgundy background is what I wanted. After publishing it and pasting the shortcode in the page, the page shows up as follows: http://rcsphotoservices.com/calendar-3/ The yellow box around the event text is not what I intended. Is this possibly a conflict with the CSS in my theme, or am I still missing something basic I should be doing? |

The background you selected is for the calendar 'boxes' and not the events. The yellow box around the event is the event color (this isn't set under Options->Colors) If you want to change the event's color, you need to either a) select a specific color for the event on the Event Editor when you save it b) create a custom category with a specific color (see "Edit Categories" link next to the category dropdown) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
