Good evening members,

I wanted to let our community know that as of 5/1/14, our subscription plans are going to change. For just over 14 years now, localendar has offered 4 annual subscription packages, and many of you have signed up for advanced features.

As of May 1, we are making the following changes:

  • New members (after 5/1/14) will be offered our new Monthly subscription plans. You can purchase a 1 year subscription for the price of 11 months
  • The new plans are Premium Personal (4.95/mo), Premium Webmaster (9.95/mo) and Premium Cobrander Deluxe (19.95/mo)
  • The Premium Cobrander Basic plan has been eliminated (it was rarely purchased and poorly understood according to our research)

In a time of increasing expenses and expanding growth, we felt these changes were necessary to be able to keep localendar responsive and acquire new resources to continue to add improvements and enhancements.

We thank you for your support and membership throughout our decade-and-a-half history and look forward to bringing you new features and enhancements that make localendar even better!

the new prices on the website don't appear to reflect the new prices. Have they gone into effect?

Since you joined in 2007, your account (and anyone else who joined prior to May 2014) is still eligible for the previous subscription pricing. Your subscription pages will not reflect any changes.

I have 2 questions. I joined in March 2014. According to your post above, the Premium Package should be $9.95. I was just charged $29.95.

Also, how do I select to NOT auto renew my account?

Dan,

According to the system, and the paypal transaction from your subscription date, your subscription level is Premium Webmaster, which is $29.95/year. http://www.localendar.com/cal?JSP=/subscribe/premium_index

If you want to change subscription levels, fill out the support contact form, and someone will assist you.

Thank you Jason. The main thing I want to change is the auto-renew feature. I do not want it. I cannot find anywhere in my profile or settings to change this option.

All recurring subscriptions are managed by Paypal. In order to cancel the subscription, you must do the following:

- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to go to Settings
- Select Payment Preferences in the left side navigation
- In the My preapproved payments section, click Update.
- Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click Cancel.
- Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.

I have a Personal Premium subscription thru PayPal since 2007 @ $9.95/yr. How do I transfer this subscription to be billed from a different PayPal account without being charged at your new rates?
