How do I make the Localendar calendar responsive. Looks OK in desktop view. On an iPhone, it does not resize, and it won't scroll in either portrait or landscape view.

See http://www.carolstein.com/dev/calendar2/

Is there any way to control this through Localendar?

For the calendar style you are using (dynamically embedded in a page) it should re-size, scroll, etc. Let me have a closer look at it.

On a related note, we are working on some specialized mobile views, particularly for phones.

I am having the same issue. The calendar is not responsive, nor does it scroll (horizontally or vertically).

It looks like Carol may have gone with a different calendaring system to solve the issue... I'd rather stay with localendar if at all possible.

I also am having the responsive problem (though it all scrolls just fine). I have tried it using both an iframe and a fully interactive embedded calendar. Same problem for both.

Does my website building software have to support Responsive Design? I ask because if I publish it on YOUR site, rather than imbedding the HTML commands on my website, the responsiveness works just fine.

Are their any disadvantages to publishing in on your website, rather than on mine (other than the user must click a link)?

Depending on how you are publishing the calendar, you might make it "less" or "Non"-responsive.

For example, if you publish into a non-responsive WordPress theme, then the calendar probably won't adapt very well either.

(BTW OPwebmaster, there are no disadvantages to linking from your site to localendar except the extra click you mention. Performance will be identical)

(Rick - hard for me to test the site interaction now w/o localendar on that page, but if you want to send me a link to a different page to check out I will take another look)
