Some of my users get confused by the month display - eg some July dates may be shown at the bottom of June. Could the 1st of the month be automatically labelled here, as it is at the top?? I have added my own label on 1st of month to help the poor dears!

That's a change we have contemplated making (I see what you did for a solution). I think we can add that to a next release, and hopefully our other members won't complain (otherwise, we'll have to move it to be a configurable preference)
