I have a client who would like to save the events to their ICAL calendar. I noticed that the icon for Ical does not display when clicking under the details of an event using the mini-calendar. Any solutions?

The mini calendar is light on displaying all the frills of the larger formats.
But you can provide a link to the ics export yourself; the format is:

for example
