I have tried to add a street address into location field of event but it does show up on published calendar.
Am I doing something wrong?

I have the same problem. When adding a street address via the web interface that allows my staff to add events to our calendar, the address does not show up on the published event.

When I add the street address during a logged-in session myself, it's fine.

You each have different issues, so my answer is in 2 parts:
WomenEnabled,

The location on the "Visitor added" event form should now be handled properly.

VACCcalendar,
The location will show up on the particular event's details (pop up window)

For example, if you click on your
Grace Place Clothes Closet" event from the public calendar, it shows the street address (517 South Church St) as well as a link to a map of that location.
