While entering a Private event on my calendar after I went to save it I noticed that all of my Private events but past and present were gone..Vanished, All public events were still there however. Can someone please tell me how I can get them back?

same thing happened to us yesterday. We've lost an entire year!

All lost. Sent emails yesterday asking for help, but have received no response. Very frustrating. Wish I could figure out how to retrieve those items. Wish Localendar would respond....

Yeah same here. No response besides one time they said they were escalating the problem to someone else. SOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!

We've received this post and are looking into the issue.We will report any updates as soon as we have them.

We have traced this issue to a bug in a security patch that was recently installed on one of our servers. From what we have seen so far, only 4 members were affected. Unfortunately, we had to recover the Private Event information from a database backup created before the patch, which means Private Events created between May 6 (prior to the patch installation) and the evening of May 15 (when we removed the patch) were non-recoverable.

I know it is not much consolation, but in the 15+ year history of localendar, this is one of the only times that we have had to resort to consulting one of our backups. Because of the rarity of this occurrence and as an apology for any data that may have been lost during the 10-day window we could not restore, we are refunding the last Premium subscription payment received for each account or activating a free year if there is no current subscription.

Thank you, I see my old stored private events have been restored, which is a relief. Thanks also for the refund. Sorted.

Thanks Marc. We can deal with the missing week. Losing 3 years of data would have been catastrophic. Only thing I would recommend is for localendar to give some sort status update while your working on it because without a phone number to call we were totally in the dark. That was a helpless feeling. Thanks for handling it though

So.. is this a case where you believe you were affected by the issue above, but are just reporting it now?

There have been no issues since that incident, so I need to understand if you are talking about something that has happened recently, or in the past.
