Edit this Post   Third option for updating a recurring event Reply to this Post

(I used the search field and looked through the 120 most recent posts for this, hoping it was already submitted and in the works, but couldn't find it...)

In Yahoo Calendar, when editing a recurring event, there are three options:

This Event Only
All Events
This and Future Events

LoCalendar has the first two, but the option I use most frequently is the third one. I have a weekly event that will be different from a certain point on. So I have to change the End Date of the original event, copy that event, change the new event's Start Date to the old one's End Date, change the new event's End Date back to the original End Date, and finally update the info.

I have to do this very regularly. It would be fantastic if a "This and Future Events" option handled all the date stuff so that all I have to do is update the info.

Thanks!

An interesting idea - I've added it to our internal issues list
