I have an event set for 2015-11-25 repeating until the next day 2015-11-26. It appears as it should on both days in Localendar.

However in OS X Calendar the even appears only on 2015-11-25. Looking at the data for that event in http://www.localendar.com/public/autevents?style=X2 the information looks incorrect. The RRULE line, which does not appear to be needed, includes an incorrect 'UNTIL=20151125;' which I suspect is why Calendar ignores the correct DTEND value

BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTAMP:20150826T181651Z
SUMMARY:Autism\, Looking Forward Looking Back: The Janus View - London
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20151125
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20151126
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20151125;BYDAY=SU,MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA

Thanks for the heads-up. We've made an adjustment on the iCal export, please let us know if it corrects your issue.

Yes, it now works. Thank you.

FYI, here's the data in feed as of now (so the UNTIL in the RRULE line is now matching the DTEND value):

BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTAMP:20150827T111659Z
SUMMARY:Autism\, Looking Forward Looking Back: The Janus View - London
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20151125
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20151126
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20151126;BYDAY=SU,MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA

I've found a related issue with another event.

I created a two day event (repeating until the following day). If I give a time, i.e., I want it to appear on both days from 9:30am for 7 hours, then only the first day is shown in Calendar. If I make it an all day event, then the fix you've done works and it shows for both days.

Here's the code when setting a time (which only shows on the first day in Calendar):

DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20151010T093000
DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20151010T163000
SUMMARY:Autism\, Intensive Interaction and Sensory Experiences - London
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20151011;BYDAY=SU,MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA

And here's the code when making it a full day event (which shows on both days thanks to your earlier fix):

DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20151010
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20151011
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20151011;BYDAY=SU,MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA

Thanks. We've made a change to how this specific type of repeating event is handled. Can you please check again and let us know how it looks?

I've put back the start time and duration in the event for which I spotted this issue. This is now working fine. The generated feed is more logical!

BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTAMP:20150922T103720Z
DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20151010T093000
DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20151010T163000
SUMMARY:Autism\, Intensive Interaction and Sensory Experiences - London
RRULE:FREQ=DAILY;COUNT=2

Thank you for these fixes.

Thank you for pointing out the problem.

There are multiple ways to represent repeating events in iCal, and that format makes a lot more sense for consecutive days.
