I'm using categories which works great for my website. The majority of my events are entered as General which I have on my website as 'Happening Now'. I also have a full calendar in a different place on my website and everything shows on that calendar perfectly! My problem is the majority of the time when I log in to enter new events, only one category shows. I've tried internet explorer, chrome and firefox and this is a problem across all 3 browsers. How do I get all categories to show when entering events?

I need a little more information. I am just a user, but I have never seen what I think you are describing.

Are you saying that on the Add Event page, you cannot access more than one category on the Category dropdown?

On the Options->Events page, under Default Event Category, can you access more than one category on the dropdown menu?

Are you using any Custom Categories, or only the standard ones that come with Localendar?

No, the categories show in the drop down. The problem is that the full calendar doesn't show all the events, it varies every time I log in to enter new events. I have to look at my 'live' calendar to see what events are listed for which days. This problem isn't occurring live, just when I log in to enter new events.

We all use different terminology, and it is made more difficult on this forum because one cannot upload images unless it is on a website, so bear with me.

You said: "The problem is that the full calendar doesn't show all the events, it varies every time I log in to enter new events. "

Are you talking about the calendar you work from, which has in the left hand column the mini calendar, the 'Jump to date...', and the Standard and Premium tabs?

If so, you mean all of your events do not appear on this calendar, but DO appear when you go to the calendar that has been published?

Are you using the 'Today + 'Happening Soon' style? I ask because you mentioned 'Happening Now' on one of your published calendars. I have never used this style, but I know on the General page there are 'look ahead' settings for this style.

Which category shows when you log on?

Would you mind posting the link to your full calendar on your website so I can get a better idea of what is being posted?

I'll chime in as well smile

I see all of your events both when I look at http://www.localendar.com/public/lcmscal and when I check your view as a signed-in user.

If you could perhaps give me an example name+date of an event that shows on your public calendar view, but does not shown when you are signed in and editing your calendar, that would be helpful.

Also: Were you playing around with the category filter at any point on your public calendar view? I want to make sure that any filtering you did there didn't affect what you see when you sign in (this would be a possible bug)
