Loss of Category filters for embedded month calendar

I know localendar and browsers have caching issues for which the cache needs to be cleared in order for category filters to work more consistently (thread from last year).

I now have an issue where I am inserting an embedded month calendar into a website. It defaults to the current month, which is fine. I am filtering by category. There are no actual events for the current month entered though. There are events entered for that category in 2 months from now. Clicking the arrow twice to go to June, it shows ALL the events and is not filtering by category.

If I enter an event for the current month (as a test). It sometimes will show just the event with the category I'm filtering by and other times it shows all events. If it shows just the one event for the category I'm filtering by, for the current month, then occasionally, I will correctly filter by the category for 2 months from now as well.

It is inconsistent.

I should note that when not using the embedded calendar, it ALWAYS filters correctly by the category. Embedded month seems to have the issue.

I can't publish something out to users which MAY show then everything; it needs to consistently filter.

Ideas?

If you go here....

April Example

You should SEE one test event on the 21st with a grey background.
You should NOT SEE a test event on the 21st with a red background.
(different categories)

Then if you go forward 2 months to JULY, you should see 3 events with grey backgrounds, and not anything else with other colored backgrounds.

The embedded code is
<SCRIPT

</SCRIPT>

Actually I see lots of different colored events in July. Then when I go back to April, both the red and the grey show.

The issue is not new. It appeared to be 'solved' a few months ago, but it has reappeared. I was going to send you to "Event Categories Problems- Reappeared & New', but I see that you have already found that thread.

And as far as I can tell, it only occurs on fully interactive embedded calendars.

Yes. The issue is that the category filters are not retained when scrolling through months. After the initial month (which works), they are lost and even scrolling back to original does not them work.

SOLVED: Support had suggested and I have tested and agreed, when embedding a month calendar in a site, do not use www in the URL for the localendar address.
This will allow the categories to be retained while scrolling through the months
