I handle communications for an association of 13 churches, at least one of which already uses localendar. If all 13 churches used localendar, would it be possible to create a single master calendar that represents all 13? Would be great if so.... Thanks. (Very nice service you have here, by the way.)

Yes. You can create a single master calendar, and merge in the Public events from the other 13. Merging is a feature that requires at least a Premium Basic subscription, and any new calendar will have a 30-day free trial of these features - so you can test how it works.
