I have chosen the 'day-view' calendar style and selected the option of hiding the events that have already occurred. However:

1) Day view does not seem to be including the events that start after midnight. My programmes start at 6.30am and end at 2am the following day but all that's being displayed is 6.30am- midnight. When I use the weekly and monthly modes, I am able to see the programmes that start after midnight. How do I change this? All I need is to show upcoming programmes for the day not a whole week/month
2) Past events are still showing up despite my selecting 'hide all events that have already occurred'. Why?

Please help. I have searched everywhere for answers.

Thank you!

Hmm.. When I tested this hide past events option on the month-block view, it seemed to work correctly:
http://localendar.com/public/HOTFMRADIO?style=M0&show_past=N

and on your default (list) view:
http://localendar.com/public/HOTFMRADIO?show_past=N

..it also worked. Can you send me a url where you are setting this option and still seeing past events?

The day-view currently only works up to midnight.. because then it is a different day. We should enforce that more clearly on the General tab. I'll make a note of it.

Thank you for responding!

Here is the website the calendar has been embedded on (sidebar)
http://hotfmgambia-clone.mystagingwebsite.com/

I see previous events at all times of the day...
I also noticed that in the code there is "...show_past=N&include=Y..." Could the 'include' be affecting it? I tried to remove it but then nothing showed up.

Ohhh okay. If I use the week-view, is there a way of amending the code to only show maybe 1 day or 2 days and in a scroll format? This way one still gets the day-like view and it does not take up entire sidebar before one is able to get to the bottom of the website page?
When do you think a general tab would become available?

Also if the calendar ends at midnight, should that not mean the next day's events should start from after midnight? Currently it is not showing the events that start after midnight the following day, it starts with my 6.30am events...

Going back to your initial issue, I did some checking and the Day view styles were not looking at the Hour/Min (just the date) for past events.

So if you choose to hide past events, at let's say 10pm, no events with an 8pm, 9:30pm, 9:55pm, etc. start time should be displayed.

I have to stress though that this is tied to the time-zone you have set your calendar, and not the user's local time. If your calendar is EST, and I am PST and an event starts at 4pm EST, if I look at your calendar at 4pm PST it already ended 3 hours earlier.

Instead of a "1 or 2 day" week view, maybe you would like to try the Today+Happening Soon view? That shows Today's events, plus a few days in the future. You can configure the "look-ahead" period under Options->General (click Show More near the bottom). A 2-day look-ahead is one of the options.

This would make your link something like this:
http://localendar.com/public/HOTFMRADIO?show_past=N&style=D2

..just a thought
