Hi, I'm trying to get the reminders function working on events in my calendar, but it doesn't work either if I set the reminder when I create the event, or when I open the event from my computer and select "Remind me about this event". Can you please advise what else I need to setup to enable this function? Many thanks |

I've created a private event with a test reminder on your calendar for 10am Auckland time Wed (1/18). Let's see if either of us receives it. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Nor for me - I suspect there is some timezone-related annoyance going on. I've set up a test calendar in your timezone and will be using that to help track this down. Please stay-tuned for updates to this thread. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by support at Jan 27, 2017, 2:11:19 AM] |

Hi Since the New year my calendar (calendar G3ZTT) is not sending reminders to the email address set at the bottom of an event. It is a Yahoo group email. It has been working last year; has something changed? Thanks |

QQ since Yahoo has been having a lot of issues with emails lately: Have you manually sent any emails to that address, and are they being received? I checked the email logs, and there are no errors sending messages to that account. I will add a test event (private) to your calendar without the entire group just for some testing (I will cc your @outlook.com address as well) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Hi thanks, I regularly send emails to that account without any problems. It is a closed group and this is the group email address which is in use once or twice every day by the members. Just checked the outlook mail and there is no message. Perhaps I'm checking too soon. |

Hi Marc Have you had any luck tracking down the cause of this issue? Thanks. |

Nope - but still testing. We have 2 members (you and G3ZTT ) having this issue now (so we assume there may be others) The testing is a bit onerous; it'd hard to get all the timezone + daylight savings time+"15 minutes before (or whatever) right so that when you don't see a reminder it's not because of a mistake you make in the maths. But we are working on it - we want you to get your email ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
