When you go to our website and try to add an event, the user gets an error message. However, if you close the message go to any other page and then go back to the calendar and hit the Add Event button again, the feature works. ????? We don't want to make it too difficult for people so how do we get it to work the first time? |

This issue has come up now and again, and we've been unable to duplicate it. If you can provide the url of your site, I'll test it. In the past, I've hit "problem sites" and not been able to replicate the behaviour. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

http://www.pr-t.com/schedule.html Sorry for getting back so late but here is the link to our calendar. Thanks!!! Oh yeah, I also tried to add an event even with the problem and I received a message that it went through and would be approved by me and then posted but I never received an email that I had added an event through our website. |

http://www.pr-t.com/index.html Here try it this way...this link takes you to our home page. Then click on Race Calendar and try to Add Event. You should get the error message the first time. Thanks again. |

Thanks- I'll test it out. I have to clear my browser cache, because that seems to be the issue (for some users). That's why it works on the second try too.. The window is looking for some Javascript files that aren't there until the 2nd attempt ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

This is the same old.... If you refresh the page after you initially try to add an event it will let you do it. I have placed a refresh button at the bottom of my page with the same problem...but what an inconvenience! At least give us a button that will work so we can put it at the top of the embedded calendar. By the way...this works just fine with firefox...ie is the problem...it must be some kind of security issue. |

I'm tracking the same issue in another thread. Yes; it seems to be related to javascript files not being downloaded correctly on the first page view. That's why it works the 2nd time: The files have been cached by your browser by then. We're still looking into this... ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

eversden, I will try hitting your calendar to replicate. Do you know any information regarding the browser settings of those who are having issues?? Anything will help - browser name, version.. any custom security settings, pop-up blockers etc. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
