I CAN SET UP THE UPCOMING MONTHS' EVENTS, BUT AM UNABLE TO ACCESS THESE MONTHS ON THE CALENDAR ON MY WEBSITE. HOW DO I DO THIS?

Are you using the non-interactive embedded calendar? That style does not include the month arrows. Since it doesn't use a layer/iframe, if it showed the arrows and a visitor clicked one, the resulting page would take over the entire browser window (as would any link you click in a browser)

When you use the Publish wizard, you'll want to select the "fully interactive embedded calendar" style.
