I would like to be able to add events to the embedded calendar on my website. On the fully interactive calendar (I use the code supplied via the "Publish" wizard) I only have view access to the days. I don't have the "Add Event" button. Also, I would like to have the calendar appear without logging in, or to automatically log in when the page is opened. Thanks, Bill |

The "Add Event" button for public calendar is part of the Premium Webmaster subscription (29.95/yr) Using the HTML generated from the Publish Wizard, the calendar will be displayed without you being required to log in. Is that what you mean? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I see that I get a view only public calendar with the regular embedded code from the Publish wizard. OK. Next up, on the "fully interactive" embedded calendar as opened using the Publish wizard code, I have to log in, and then I can click on the days and see what's been posted in an hour by hour breakdown. I can even click on each event on that page and edit (not sure of edit ability). Anyway, what I'd like here if possible is to add events from the month view or even from the hour by hour view. So in summary, I'm ok with logging in to view the fully interactive embedded calendar, but I don't get to add events from that calendar view and I'd like to have that. I'm all logged in, but can't add events. Is it possible? Thanks! Bill |

I am so confused. It sounds like you're embedding the localendar site itself, and not the public view of your calendar.. Can you just send me the url where you're doing all this so I can check it out? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Hi Marc, I'm using the code from the Publish Wizard on your site. here it is: <ILAYER src="http://www.localendar.com/public/raleighrowing" height=600 width=700 ></ILAYER> <IFRAME src="http://www.localendar.com/public/raleighrowing" height=600 width=700 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 scrolling=no frameborder=0 border=0></IFRAME> This is for the embedded "fully interactive" calendar. When I run this, and sign in as the admin, I get the calendar with public events shown. That's fine. But I cannot add events. I want to add events. How can this functionality be included in the embedded calendar? Can I add events? That's what I think of when I hear "fully interactive" Thanks, and sorry this has been confusing. Bill |

Ah. Fully interactive in the sense that the visitor can move the calendar forwards and backwards, get popup event details, etc. To add events, you need to sign into localendar. There is an "anonymous Add Event" feature that you can use on published calendars as part of the Premium webmaster subscription, but I don't believe it's intended to work on the embedded cal (just the full-page one). I can give you a free trial if you want to play around with it though. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
