When I try to export a single event to Outlook 2002 I get this error message from Outlook:

"Cannot import vCalendar file."

Google and Yahoo exports seem to work fine. What's wrong with Outlook?

I don't think Outlook 2002 is fully iCalendar/vCalendar friendly.

Can you save the .ics file locally, and then add this text

METHOD:PUBLISH

before the

BEGIN:VEVENT:
