Hi - I would really like t upload my own arrow buttons - I see where I am able to upload images under options but don't know where they go once uploaded...is this for backgrounds only?

Correct. You can also upload clipart for event images. *At the moment* members cannot upload custom forward/backward images.

Though if you have a custom set and want to donate them, we can see about getting them added.

Thanks so much - also I was wondering if there was a way to get a hand cursor on the mini calendar when hovering over the days with events. Right now it isn't obvious that the user should click on those...

All you have to do is modify the CSS you pasted slightly:

.localendar-hasEvents {
background-color:#7AB5CB;
cursor: pointer;
}

(of course, you'll want to keep the background color to whatever you already have. The trick is just adding the cursor bit)
