Members with at least a Premium Webmaster subscription have the option of adding an "Add Event" button on their public calendar view. This lets visitors to the site add events directly to the calendar without signing on or even having a localendar account.

In the past, once a visitor added an event, there was no way for them to go back and change it.

Now, each time a visitor adds an event they will be given a unique URL that allows them to return to the event to edit or delete it.

The fine print:
If the calendar owner has opted to make visitor-added events Private by default, then any changes to an event will reset it to Private status, even if it was previous moved to be Public (because who knows what text or information the visitor may have changed)

Hi Marc,

We sent the check for our renewal last week and this week our calendar is not allowing our teachers to 'add an event'...the button is missing. I have tried to fix it and cannot. Can you please help me?

Also, the ads have reappeared on our calendar and we do have the "premium' calendar and prefer to NOT few the ads.

Please advise quickly....thanks so much!!

In the meantime, we have given you a 30 day extension on your calendar. Let me know if the ads clear.

Where do I find the calendar additions that have been made by visitors? I used to click on the link in the email I received and it took me to the page, now I can't find where to go to approve the additions. Can you please help me? I've looked everywhere. Thanks.

Are you no longer seeing the link, or are you stating it's not working?

Also, if you have chosen to approve visitor added events before they are visible, they will show up as blue (Private) events on your calendar.

The link is in the email but it just takes me to the login page. After I log in, I don't know where to find the new addition to approve. It used to take me right to the event.

It would be a private event on your calendar, and at least the date should be mentioned in the email.

However, we realize we can make improvements in this area, and are working on a page to easily show events that have not been reviewed.
