Is it possible to turn off the 'Add an Image' option when adding events.

Our calendar is open so anyone can post community events but we find the images take up too much space make the calendar look cluttered.

No, it's currently not possible to turn of this setting. But I'll past the request along to our Dev team for the member-submitted wishlist.

You would think that 6+ years later you could have taken care of this. I just paid for calendar upgrade, but I'm trying to find something else, as a community calendar becomes HUGELY cluttered with the images.

Requests do get prioritized on the basis of many factors (including member feedback) and this only ever got the 1 post.

Other things (like iCal support or letting people edit events they contributed) were much more heavily lobbied for. We also dont implement every preference if we feel it would make the Options page even more overloaded than it already it. Especially in light of user demand.

I'm also in great need of removing this option when a user is adding their own event.

I also need to remove their ability to "schedule an reminder email".

Seems like something that should ONLY be an option for the calendar admin. Please advise.

I would also like to see the option to turn 'Add an Image' off.
I agree that the the images take up too much space and make the calendar look cluttered.
It's already a problem on our calendar

Why would you be against a visitor to your site scheduling a reminder about one of your events?
