Why don't all of my "public" events sync onto the Google calendar?

Hi hcmgroup,

We've had a few members report trouble with certain events not syncing and we've uncovered (and fixed) a few "edge cases" that we didnt account for in our first implementation.

Please bear with us and we'll take a look at your calendar to see what might be causing the problem.

I looked at a feed from your calendar (http://www.localendar.com/public/hcmgroup?style=X2) , and it looks like everything is there. Can you let me know the date and title of an event that is not making it over?

Please look at April 12, 2011. Only 2 items go over to our Google calendar.

Interesting. I imported your feed to a Google calendar and got the same result. Just to make sure, I checked our feed out at http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/ , and it validated correctly.

Then I took a few of the events that *didnt* show up, copied them into a smaller file, and uploaded that file. The events showed up (so I knew they must be valid).

Just for kicks, I imported your feed into a Yahoo calendar: All of the events showed up!

When I saved your feed and tried to upload it to Google (rather than link to it) Google just choked. It never completed the upload.

Rare of me to say this, but since the feed validates, the events work in a smaller file, and the entire feed works at Yahoo, I am suspicious of Google having some type of bug. I'll keep poking away at it, but you might also want to post a question (and the url) over at the Google calendar Sync forums: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Calendar/label?lid=69ef18c8639e74cc&hl=en
