A few small enhancements and bug fixes today: * Start Week on a Monday! (for our European friends) (Set under Options->General) * The "Week" jump links on the month-block view is now hidden by default. You can turn it back on under Options->General (click Show More>> and check the "Week Jump shortcut" checkbox * Various display/format bugfixes on the "Month Block Style #2" view. * Church sample calendar updated ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Nice options. Thank you and the team for such dedication. I was happy to see the option to turn the week jump back on; not because I or any of my users actually ever used it; but without it being on in the display, the monthly block calendar view actually displays like a pancake when empty. . . this was not pleasing to the eye. . . . hence I was forced to turn it back on simply for display purposes. Hopefully you and the team will be able to correct this glitch. |

Care to share your browser/vers/OS? I wiped my calendar, hid all the holidays and weather so it was totally empty.. and it displayed fine for me. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Sharing. . . certainly. Browser is IE8, operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium. Hosted on Yahoo. . . . using their PageBuilder system of web site construction. Calendar location: http://www.blade-tek.com/Early_Late_Closings.html The calendar publishing code sits inside of an iFrame. |

Hmm. Maybe it's related to the "M4" style view you are using. I'll have a look. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Actually, I didnt notice any problem with my calendar, so I checked a duplicate of http://www.localendar.com/public/bladetek and it worked fine with the M4 view and Week jump hidden. I was using Chrome (Not that there should be any difference) Mind changing it on your actual calendar and having another look? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I have changed it on the published calendar {turned the week jump off}. If you select a month with nothing in it {ex: Jun-2011} the display has pancaked. . . . any week row with something included within the row seems to be fine. Perplexing . . . I have left the week jump link turned off for your viewing pleasure. Brian I also have just viewed my calender using "Chrome" and yes the spacing with the week-jump-link turned off is totally functional. However this is not the case with IE. . . . my 'stats' information reveals Chrome accounts for less than 5% of my website visitors, behind Safari, IE, Firefox, and mobile devices. . . . More perplexed . . . ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by bladetek at Sep 6, 2011, 12:59:48 AM] |

With IE7 and FF6, http://www.localendar.com/public/bladetek displays fine for me on June 2011. I notice you are using a custom transition effect.. did turning that off/on make any difference? I assume you are still seeing this issue? Even if I jump to June directly with http://www.localendar.com/public/bladetek?start_date=6/1/2011 it displays correctly. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I have tried turning on/off the transition effects; no difference either way. Somehow though access the calendar file directly does not produce the pancake effect. . . . you are correct even when using IE ; however when accessing the calendar through my website domain (Yahoo hosted)(pagebuilder javascript tool used to create web page) the pancake effect occurs.
