By popular demand: If you are a Premium Webmaster (or above) subscriber, and have enabled visitor-added events, the Event Editor will now require a Contact Email be provided by the event contributor. The contributor's email will be included in the alerts localendar sends you (if you have chosen to approve events before they are published). It will also appear in the top-right of the Event Editor underneath the Last Modified date. And finally, it appears on the "master" approval list for your calendar (located at http://www.localendar.com/calendar/submitted) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Did this mess something up for non-subscribers? I was testing out your calendar this evening... when halfway through my adding events, it started disallowing new events to be added and a pop-up proclaimed that I needed a valid email in the contact information...? What changed to make my email invalid? |

For the life of me I can't figure out where I am even supposed to type in my e-mail address. I have a premium account that doesn't allow external users from adding content to my calendar and now when I try to type in information myself a pop-up appears telling me I need to enter a valid e-mail address. Where do I find a place to type this information, I need help to find it as I can't locate it? Thanks :) Brgds |

Same here, long time user of the calendar and since today we cannot add events without entering an email address which cannot be entered anywhere. Please look into this side effect |

This should be only affecting events added from your public calendar view. However, I have seen other members having the problem when they are signed in. We're investigating. Update: This may be the result of a cached JavaScript file. If you are still receiving this error, please refresh your page by pressing Ctrl+F5 and let us know if you still have any problems. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by support at Aug 23, 2011, 8:18:02 AM] |

Wooh! It looks as if it might be fixed. Thanks :) Maybe it just needed a few hours to sort itself out in my browser. Just as I saw your Ctrl + F5 advice I found that I could use the calendar the same way as always. Thanks again! Brgds |
