Edit this Post   Calendar outputting month old events to ICAL Subscriptions Reply to this Post

Hello,

All of the events from october are appearing in all of the November dates but only on the subscription output. Don't know if I am explaining this well so I will try in more detail.

On Iphone and Google Calendar you can subscribe to a localendar. I use the mine at the following URL

www.localendar.com/public/Musiccityhog?style=X2

Now my Google Calendar and Iphone calendar is displaying events in November that have already took place in October. Example is on October 29 I had a halloween party but now that party is showing up on November 29.

All appears normal on the localendar. It seems to be just when you subscribe to an ICAL that this is occurring on.

I have un-subscribed and re-subscribed to calendar but issue is still there.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I suspect I have the answer (and it's related to the recent GMT upgrade). No point in explaining the tech details (but Java starts counting months from 0 instead of 1). I'm sure that's the issue, and we'll push an emergency fix out shortly.

WOW,

You guys rock... The patch fixed the IPhone issue but the GMail calendar that is also linked to that same URL is still showing the month lag.

Here is the settings for the GMAIL calendar

Calendar Time Zone:
(GMT+00:00) GMT (no daylight saving)

URL:

Thanks for your help

Google is actually really bad about refreshing iCal feeds. I have seen people on the net say it can take a day sometime to update.

Your iPhone is probably doing it instantly, hence the immediate satisfaction. Google is probably caught up by now (deleting and re-adding sometimes will get them to refresh, too)

For the record, localendar refreshes imported iCals about every 30 min.
