You can hide the links on events that don't have a description with a new setting under Options->Events

(Visitors will still be able to click these events and open a pop-up to export the event to their personal calendar; they just won't be underlined if you choose this setting)

The Custom Category sample has this turned on.. click here and you'll see the event titles are not underlined.

This doesn't seem to apply to list views. At least my list views are showing links when there is no additional information.

Is there a way to hide the links even if they have a description? Is there a way to customize with html to remove the underline on the event?

You would hve to play around with your page's CSS. The hooks we have in place are documented here:

http://localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Custom+Calendar+CSS

If you look at the html localendar spits out, you will see calendars are typically in their own div with a class: "localendar_container"
