I just installed localendar for my 3.4.1 WP self-hosted site. I merged my Facebook events into my calendar. I realized that there are some private events that I don't want on my WP site. I tried to delete them, but cannot from the iCal popup. I have tried deleting these private events using the date range delete option, but they are still on my calendar. I have cleared caches, used different browsers, deactivated and reactivated the Localendar plugin, all to no avail. At this point I just want to be rid of the Facebook merge, and enter the events manually.

How can I un-merge this facebook calendar from my localendar? I am afraid these events will keep syncing, and don't want these private events published on the interwebs.

Have you visited the iCal merge page
(accessible from a few places like Options->Events, but here is the direct link: http://www.localendar.com/cal?JSP=CalendariCal)

You should be able to delete imported iCal URLs and uploaded iCal files from this page.

Please let me know if you are still having trouble.

Thank you! Last night my Facebook calendar was not on this list, no matter how many times I refreshed the page, adding to my frustration.

It worked!

I do hope that in future releases we will be able to delete individual events from the merged calendars, as entering them manually can be quite tedious.

By the way, I love your Wordpress plugin. Accolades to you all!

Hmm. Deleting invdividual merged events should not be too big a deal. Also, if you are merging from a URL (rather than a file), then deleting them at the source should delete them from localendar too.

I tried and tried, like I said. I did find a workaround though, so I didn't have to add each event individually.

I imported the facebook calendar into a new google calendar, deleted the events from facebook that were private, and then imported the new google calendar into localendar.

It works like a charm!
