Self Paced, E-Learning is available through ECExplorer. Participants will work at their own pace to complete this course within the set timeframe. After successful completion of the training participants will be entered into the WI Registry.

Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) Prevention*:
During this module you will gain awareness of AHT, its adverse consequences and how it is preventable. You will develop the knowledge and skills to handle the challenges and frustrations of infant crying, including soothing strategies and help you support and educate parents and other staff about AHT.

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Risk Reduction*:
During this module you will dive into the ABC’s of safe sleep and why it is important for the children in your care. This module uses material from Sleep Baby Safe through the Children’s Health Alliance of WI.

Mandated Child Abuse and Neglect Reporter*:
During this module you will gain knowledge on child abuse and neglect reporting requirements. You will look at reporting requirements, types of abuse, and how to make a report.

This full-day group learning experience combines training and coaching designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in early childhood settings.

Through a combination of evidence-based strategies and practical tools, participants will gain valuable insights into addressing the unique communication, sensory, and behavioral needs of children on the autism spectrum. Additionally, participants will learn how to use a step-by-step collaboration plan to effectively communicate with a child's care team.

By the end of the course, participants will confidently create inclusive environments where children with autism can thrive. This is an in-person event. Participants are expected to come prepared to talk about the children in their care and complete a final reflection.

This course teaches the lifesaving skills of CPR and AED including: signs of a heart attack or stroke, adult, child & infant CPR, AED, and choking help, drowning response and prevention, and opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
