      How would you like tooffer educators in your area a Social and Emotional Learning Program for ouryoung people during these troubling times? The Lions Quest program does exactlythat.

      Teacher Grade Levelpackages are available offering step by step instructions that model classroommanagement skills that can be applied to all areas of the curriculum. Theprogram is beautifully packaged into half hour weekly lessons.

      Clubs who areparticipating in the Peace Poster Contest have already received sample lessonsto share with the teachers that they have contact with.

      Lions Quest Social Emotional Learning

      K-8 Online Training

      The training experience provides an overview of Social Emotional Learning & Research, how to teach Lions Quest in the classroom, as well as instructional & implementation strategies. Participants are required to watch a webinar and complete activities prior to the 2-hour gathering on Zoom. The $350 fee for each participant includes the curriculum resource package for one grade level, the training experience and ongoing support.

      The cost of the workshop will presently be covered by District A16

      Sponsor educators from your community - the feedback has been outstanding! Help us spread the word to the educators in your families, neighbourhoods and clubs. You know people in your network who would benefit from this program - please invite them to participate.

      “IMPORTANT NOTICE”

      The ANNUAL MEETING of the LIONS CLUBS CAMP KIRK FOUNDATION for 2020-2021 scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Kirkfield, Ontario. has been , “ POSTPONED”.

      The ANNUAL MEETING has been “POSTPONED” due to an oversight which resulted in the L.C.C.K.F. By Law changes, due to be submitted to the Annual Meeting for approval by the voting Members, not being submitted to the District A16 Lions and Lioness/Lion Club Presidents. For purposes of the Annual Meeting Lions and Lioness/Lion Club Presidents are voting Members.

      The rescheduled LIONS CLUBS CAMP KIRK FOUNDATION ANNUAL MEETING for 2020-2021 will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Kirkfield Lions Hall in Kirkfield, Ontario.

      For Members of the Board of Directors and Board Appointees the Board Meetings normally scheduled both before and after the Annual Meeting will take place as usual , on the same date and time namely 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

      All parties to whom this notice is addressed will receive further information regarding electronic voting, agendas etc. in the near future.
