The net is not restricted to hams in Kansas, but any properly licensed amateur radio operator, with privileges to transmit on the Sunflower Network, are welcome to checkin. Connection options can be found at https://sunflowersystem.blogspot.com/?m=1 -- on AllStar, D-Star, DMR, Echolink, Fusion, Hams Over IP, M17, P25, and TGIF.

Net Control will be Daryl Stout, NK5LA, from Little Rock, Arkansas. The only times that he will NOT be available will be as follows:

1) 1st Saturday of January (New Years Weekend), June (square dance photography event), July (Independence Day Weekend), and December (Skywarn Recognition Day (details for the 2026 event will be released in the coming weeks).

2) Whenever there is a Skywarn Activation in Kansas or Arkansas. For Arkansas, you can search for "Arkansas Skywarn" on broadcastify.com

So, either alternate net controls will be needed, or the regular net is canceled, in deference to severe weather operations.

73, and we hope you'll join us for that net.
