Brickman Cities Maritime Museum Fremantle
Brickman Cities, powered by LEGO® CITY is the latest creation from Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, delivering a fun and interactive LEGO® experience. This brand-new interactive experience will open at the WA Maritime Museum on Friday 5 April and run until Sunday 5 May 2019.
Brickman Cities focuses on some of the world’s greatest cities – Dubai, London, New York, Sydney and Tokyo – with Brickman’s trademark cut-away detailed models representing three different stages of each city’s history, from 1000AD up to the present day and shows how each has evolved and grown. Every person that comes along then builds a new version of that city and what they think it will look like in the future!
Brickman Cities continues to feature Brickman’s trademark interactive build experiences that are hugely popular with young and older LEGO® fans alike combined with new cutting-edge technology to advance the experience. The centrepiece is a 3m x 4m 1:600 scale model of Lower Manhattan, New York, built entirely from white LEGO® bricks to enable 3D stories of the city to be projected directly onto them using UHD 4K projectors.

Spare Puppets Theatre Fremantle Blueback Adapted by Peta Murray from the book by Tim Winton
Blueback is an evocative story set along the Western Australian coastline. It captures the mystery of the sea and the majesty of an old fish called “Blueback”, and the moment when an inquisitive boy stands up for what he loves and believes in.
One of Tim Winton’s most personal and quintessentially Western Australian stories, Blueback will nourish your heart and the beautiful Tim Winton poetry will resonate with you long after you leave the theatre. This award-winning production is an underwater menagerie of exquisite puppetry and an extraordinary celebration of the Western Australian coastline from one of WA’s most beloved authors.
