Rockingham Arts Centre Open Day

oin in the fun at the annual Rockingham Arts Centre Open Day event!

There will be lots of free art activities for all ages to enjoy including raffia weaving and Chinese calligraphy, as well as face painting and a drum circle. The kid's zone will have sand art card making for kids to make a special card for Father’s Day.

On the day be sure to check out ‘The More Smalls’ art exhibition by the Rockingham Regional Arts Inc., view the hireable spaces and find out more about the regular community art workshop program on offer all year round.

Ballajura Community Fair

The Rotary Club of Ballajura-Malaga and Lions Club of Ballajura is holding its Annual Ballajura Community Fair on Sunday 25th August 2019.

The Fair is designed to give enjoyment to the whole family with multicultural displays, dancing, clowns, fair ground activities, craft, food and novelty stalls, and more.

Admission to the fair is by gold coin donation, and proceeds made by the Rotary Club though entry and the sale of bays will go towards community projects.

Non-stop entertainment including local school bands, choirs, dance troupes, gymnasts, martial art displays, a talent show and much more plus a large number of craft and food stalls are expected to attract a large crowd on the day.

The Perth Science Festival is back for another year! Experience more than 50 hands-on activities, explosive shows, roving performers, native animals, competitions and more.

The festival features more than 50 stallholders from various STEM organisations running interactive activities across the entire weekend. Organisations include tertiary institutions, government departments, small businesses, not-for-profits, charities and more!

We feature a diverse range of fields, covering more than 10 different areas of STEM. We also include activities that target a range of ages from little scientists corner for young children, to gaming technology for youth, and resource management and sustainability for adults.
