Steel Showdown

Pistol Shoot

Set up begins at 8:00 AM

Shoot begins at 9:00 AM

Depending on Weather

We bought more steel targets for this event to make it bigger and better.

Time: Setup 8am, Shooting begins by 9am

Cost: $10 per shooter $5 for an additional firearm

*** Exact change please. NO LARGE BILLS.

Equipment: Pistol, Spare magazines, Holster 

There is speed timed challenges and side by side accuracy challenges.

The shoot is set for centerfire pistol but juniors and anyone wanting to shoot Rimfire is welcome, the steel doesn’t always knock down with rimfire. Added a PCC, pistol caliber carbine category to the shoot.

Entry fee $10, $5 more to add an additional firearm.

Approximate round count: 50

There will be 3 competing pistol classes.

The 'Open Class' pistol and the 'Limited Class' pistol, and PPC. Pistol Caliber Carbine

Your pistol is 'Open Class' if it has optics or a compensator.

Everything else is 'Limited Class'.

Meeting starts at 7:00 PM. 

If you plan to join or renew at the meeting, please arive 15 minutes early. 

Attendance Gun Raffle Tickets will be for sale at this meeting. The winner will be drawn at the May meeting.  Prize is a S&W M&P 2.0 Metal 9mm pistol for the Spring Gun Raffle. You need not be present to win.

Saturday April 25th, 9am to 12 Noon 

Cost: FREE 

Some firearms will be provided. 

Personal firearms are allowed. 

All firearms need to be brought to the range unloaded. 

 

The Women’s Shooting Clinic is NOT a competition, it is a familiarization class for the safe handling and shooting of different firearms for women only. 

There will be one-on-one coaching and live fire.

 

What is provided: 

Some firearms- handguns, rifles, shotguns. 

Ammo - .22 rimfire, some 9mm, .38, 12 Guage, 20 Guage, and 5.56mm 

Paper and steel targets 

Eye protection and hearing protection 

If your personal firearm uses different ammo than the listed calibers, you will need to provide that ammo for your personal firearm.
