“Music and Mayhem in Music City”

From chart-topping hits to headline-making controversies, Nashville has been the backdrop for some of the most fascinating legal disputes in recent years.  This entertaining CLE explores real Music City headlines through the lens of criminal law, contracts, copyright, trademark, and civil liability.

Using real cases and high-profile headlines, we will examine the legal principles behind some of Nashville’s biggest stories, from Morgan Wallen’s infamous chair toss and Taylor Swift’s fight to reclaim her music, to copyright disputes over songs that sound alike, trademark conflicts involving artists and brands, and the civil liability that can arise from pedal taverns, Broadway nightlife, and a night out gone wrong.

Whether you are a litigator, transactional attorney, or simply a fan of music and pop culture, this session offers an engaging look at how the law extends far beyond the courtroom – and sometimes right onto Broadway.

Attorney Jenna Fliszar is an attorney at Scherline Injury Law and serves as the 2026 President of the Bar Association of Lehigh County.  She also serves as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Bethlehem and previously owned Fliszar law Office for 12 years.  Over more than 15 years in practice, Jenna has represented clients in municipal, civil, criminal, and dependency matters before trial and appellate courts throughout Pennsylvania.  She has served on the Bar Association of Lehigh County’s Board of Directors since 2016 and has chaired several Association committees.

Jenna earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, where she developed a strong foundation in legal practice.  She has been honored with the Legal Eagle Award for her exceptional service to the Bar Association of Lehigh County.

Outside of her professional achievements, Jenna enjoys a fulfilling personal life with her husband, Greg, and their cat, Duchess.  Her dedication to both her legal career and community service reflects her passion for making a positive impact in the field of law.
