Hosted by the acclaimed father-daughter duo Bob & Sarah Amos, who recently had a #1 album and #1 song on the national Folk charts, the Bluegrass Night concert series features the best bluegrass and acoustic music acts in New England, and is held in the Alexander Twilight Theater, on the Vermont State University – Lyndon campus.

Formed in 2013, Rock Hearts brings together five seasoned musicians from Southern New England who love to sing and pick bluegrass, old country tunes, and seek out tunes from other genres to “bluegrass-ify.” Named an Official 2021 IBMA Showcase Band, the band is enjoying national radio and Chart activity.

Artistic Director and founder David Parsons enjoyed a remarkable career as a performer with Momix and Paul Taylor Dance Company before creating over 70 works for his own company. He has received commissions from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Jacob’s Pillow, Spoleto Festival, and more. In 2007, he became the first contemporary choreographer ever to stage work at the centuries-old Arena di Verona in Italy. Jennifer Dunning of The New York Times called Parsons “one of the great movers of modern dance.”
