 Hostel trip to Dulverton, West SomersetDulverton in West Somerset, the gateway to Exmoor National Park, has been selected for this year’s November trip. YMCA Dulverton is a lovely converted vicarage and is perfectly located to explore Dulverton and Exmoor, by foot, mountain bike, kayak or canoe. The hostel sports a newly refurbished kitchen and accommodation for 36 (although we will limit numbers to about 20). The hostel is located within the town, which also has two hotels, b&bs and, of course, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. There’s a Co-op store for food shopping. Get there by train to Tiverton Parkway and then bus, or Taunton and a longer bus journey. NB There is only provision for off-street parking or council-run car parks. The trip will open for booking two to three months before departure. Thursday Nov 20  New Year trip to Haworth, West YorkshireCelebrate the New Year on this five-night trip away by partying with CLOG and enjoying midwinter walks across the rugged moorland and scenic dales of West Yorkshire. We have exclusive use of YHA Haworth, a Victorian Gothic mansion in the historic Pennine village where the Bronte sisters lived and wrote.
