Re: Locking Forum Threads Actually, I wasn't aware the forums had that capability  You'll have to forgive me while I play around with it a bit. On other sites I have used, usually there is a public post (in a locked thread) that tells you where to email to request access. Or sometimes there is a public thread called something like "request access" and anytime someone posts a reply to that thread, an admin comes by and gives them access. But it looks to me like the thread-locking doesn't allow you to delegate to specific users - just lock Announcements or something so that only the admins can post.
