The RSS feed for all of my calendars seems to have stopped working as of the past couple of days: http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=D4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodopen?style=D4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtea?style=D4 |

That is a daily RSS feed. Since you have no events today, the feed is empty. If you want, you can use the monthly RSS feed: http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=M4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodopen?style=M4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtea?style=M4 or weekly http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=W4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodopen?style=W4 http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtea?style=W4 ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Interesting, this always used to work and provided the next few events. Did something change at your end? |

In fact investigating your suggestion further I see that W4 and M4 return a calandar formatted page and you need M3 or W3 to get an RSS formatted feed. Interestingly D3 doesn't however. |

In fact W3 and M3 don't work as required. M3 returns all events for the current month whereas I just want events today and in the future. W3 seems to also return all events for the month and not for just the current week. D4 used to work and did exactly as required, ie return the future events only. I can only presume you've changed something on the backend which has changed the functionality. I used D4 originally because the site said this was the correct way to pull an RSS feed. |

There are different RSS feeds that basically serve up the RSS equivalent of a particular "visual" view. D4 is the RSS feed for the "Today + Happening Soon" view (http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=D2) The default for that view is Today+10 Days in the future (adjustable under options) Again, I must point out that your calendar is basically empty, so that feed returns nothing today (you only have 2 events this entire month). You have no events for D4 to return right now! I would suggest looking at all the various visible calendar display formats, and when you see one that has the events you want on it, simply copy the RSS link from the bottom of that page. (btw, your description of the other feeds is not correct. For example, you mention that http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=W3 returns the entire Month and not just the current week. Try it. It's only the events for this week - which is 1. If it was the entire month you'd get both of your calendar's events) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Ok, something has gone very wrong here. Let's focus on two calendars: http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodopen?style=D4 This has public events every Sat and Sun for the next two weeks. However the feed above returns nothing. The second calendar to look at is: http://www.localendar.com/public/hartswoodtennis?style=D4 The problem here is that 49 events that I added a couple of months ago running from May through to August have just completely disappeared from the calendar!! I can add them back in but that's a lot of work, any idea what happened to them? Thanks Alice |

This is the first you've mentioned the hartswoodopen calendar, which helps. There was an issue there, so please try refreshing your feed. On hartswoodtennis, since I intially responded, I have not seen any events of the scope you mentioned. There is no record in our db backups either. Were these via an imported ics or icalendar feed? Did you manually enter them? Were they merged from another calendar? If you remember the text on any event, I could research further. However, we have never just randomly dropped events. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I did mention hartswoodopen in my initial post:
Anyway these all seem to be working fine now so thanks for finding the problem and fixing it. In the hartswoodtennis calendar I entered all the events manually probably sometime in April. Unless I'm having a complete senior moment and never entered them but I'm fairly certain that I did and that I saw then in the RSS feed until recently. If you can't find anything in your backups then I guess I'll just have to enter them all again. Regards Alice |
