Three webcal urls were merging fine for many months, but now they are not. Tried removing the merged calendars and then merging them again. Still not showing up on my calendar and therefore not on my website. Thanks for your help. webcal://p57-caldav.icloud.com/published/2/MTg2NTMyNDU4MTg2NTMyNH86NMU1Z9szJ79TUjEu2z4Ytbg0UiYrt-Kl4aTCsomtrZPeBQQjHrEsNkVXy7yFz3Z6BOkYNIY1EP63YvFJ0mw webcal://p57-caldav.icloud.com/published/2/MTg2NTMyNDU4MTg2NTMyNH86NMU1Z9szJ79TUjEu2z7V9QdxD1k3sr01ms4cYCwZRDulr90Ba80M34eM28ahKrQKUTewvqzzdGjhIWKuhWU webcal://p57-caldav.icloud.com/published/2/MTg2NTMyNDU4MTg2NTMyNH86NMU1Z9szJ79TUjEu2z6bmpp20eMExjoJsEyr23PG8Yp2ZqzdTqpWZxXmxplkrSJmbgBLSi-fsvDFJgdlvJ4 ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cbccorinth at Jul 17, 2019, 11:25:46 AM] |

I have to say, we've spent an enormous amount of time on this one so far. The basic update is that Apple is for some reason not correctly negotiating an SSL connection with localendar. Nothing has changed on our side, so this is probably the result of a new configuration on their side (or possibly something that has expired on our end, but we can't find any smoking gun). We haven't left many stones unturned, but all I can tell you know is that this is still an issue, but it's specific to icloud.com as we are importing lots of ical feeds from other sources. Our main SSL expert is currently on vacation for a few weeks, so I apologize that this issue might sit open a bit until he gets back. Your calendar is configured correctly, so you don't need to change anything. In fact, I can view those feeds correctly from my local test environment, which should mirror our main servers (which is also frustrating) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thanks for you attention to this issue. I'll wait it out for the return of the SSL expert, but... Can you suggest any work around for me until the issue is resolved? Thanks |

Yes - you can download the ics files (by entering each of the links you supplied and saving the .ics file) and you can upload these files to your calendar under Import->File Upload We worked even more on this.. still no success (arrgh!) ![]() ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Hi Marc, and thanks for staying on top of this. Exported ICS files and tried to upload them from my desktop. The files seem to work on my Mac, but for some reason, when I tried to upload them, I got this message: Upload does not appear to be a valid iCalendar (ics) file. Is there some other change that I can make on my end to bypass whatever issues are causing this problem with my ical merge? ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cbccorinth at Jul 31, 2019, 4:15:14 PM] |

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can fix on your side. It's purely a consequence of Apple making some security changes and causing a problem with how localendar used to talk to them. The "upload does not appear to be a valid ics file" is probably a separate bug we may have accidentally introduced while looking into workarounds ![]() While I could grab the files myself, the best thing to make sure it would work is for you to email them to us. The next step is to just open a support ticket (see Contact Us link in our footer) and I'll reply from there so you will be able to attach the files. Rest assured, we will get to the bottom of this! Hi Marc, Anything happening here yet? Don't mean to be impatient, it is just that I don't have any merged calendars so that I'll see when something happens with the Apple issue. Really looking forward to being able to update remotely again. Thanks, Danny ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cbccorinth at Aug 17, 2019, 12:23:22 AM] |

I believe this is back to working again. It was only related to icloud (Apple) that we are aware of, and a fix is now in place. Now, we just need to watch this closely to see if the changes we made for Apple have negative impact on any other external calendar sites we were pulling from... ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thanks Marc! Looks like everything is working fine now. Hope the fix doesn't make other problems for you. |
