I like what I saw on the preview of the event spanning days feature, hopefully that will be available soon. In the same vane. I would like to see the RSS feed not present an event 3 times that spreads over 3 days. Another issue I have with the rss is that if you click on the event, it does not return the date of the event. Otherwise I really like everything. It seems very easy to use. I have embedded the calendar into our site and it looks great. www.troop170macon.org |

One other issue with the RSS feeds. I was wanting to use the feed as an upcoming events section on our website. It appears to be showing all events for the current month. |

For #4, anyway, I think you want to use the RSS feed for the "Today+Happening Soon" view rather than the full month feed. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

What do you think about items 2 & 3? |

I think #2 and #3 are more related to your RSS reader. We just return the XML for the events on the calendar. It's possible to slice and dice it a zillion ways by writing XSL to transform the XML into HTML (or more XML!) If you are just using a vanilla RSS reader to parse this XML, then you are basically taking whatever they give you. We don't want to restrict the information in our feed to suit the presentation whims of a particular 3rd-party product. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I guess that what I am referring to is the xml link to the web calendar. ie this is the link in the xml file. It links to the event and a time, not the date. http://www.localendar.com/elsie?DAM=PublishedEvent&event_id=11&calendar_id=256844&k=062506&cb=false |

I think I get it... Are you saying that the event detail link should list the entire range a multi-day event is occurring [once], rather than each particular day [n times for an n-day event]? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

That would be great, but the main thing is that the link does not display the date. |

You mean the description. The pubDate field in the XML contains the event date. I take it your reader doesn't expose that field? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
