When attempting to log in to our discussion board, there is a message that says that our premium service has expired. Last year, we sent a check for payment of $29.95, after which our PayPal account was automatically drafted by LoCalendar on Oct. 6th for $29.95. We tried to contact LoCalendar, but go no response. So according to our records, we should have paid for a two year subscription. Can you tell me how our premium service can be expired now and what we need to do to correct this problem? Thank you, Lesley Reeser |

Since I haven't heard anything yet from Localendar support, I cancelled our Oct 6th PayPal subscription, and set up a new subscription starting today (Sept 30th). Our discussion board is back up, but we still have the unresolved issue of a double payment for last year. The site is REACHgroup. I would still like a response, and for future reference, can you tell me how often this site is moderated and in general how long I should expect to wait to get a response? |

I suspect that since there was a combination of manual and automated payments taking place, that things got a little mixed up. I've corrected your account to expire in 2008, but please be aware that PayPal will still bill anually. That means next year you should be automatically renewed through 2009. Depending on workload/holidays, the forum messages are monitored at least every several days (subscription/log on problems using the Contact Us form are monitored more frequently) The premise of the forums was to allow some User-to-user resolution of common issues, but we typically end up answering the same questions over and over. In your case, of course, other members wouldn't be able to offer assistance anyway. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
