I would like to subscribe to a Premium Webmaster account (= 29.95 US Dollars / year ) in order to have a Discussion Board which I will later integrate / embed to my website. Before taking that step, I would like to know if it is possible to customize and translate all the menues from english into french? When I say "all the menues" I referer to " Thread, Author, Replies, Views, Last Post, Post new thread, all threads in this forum, Recent thread, My Profile, Topic, My Calendar etc....". That's in fact the only hurdle that prevent me from subscribing to a paying account as all the visitors to my website are only french speaking persons.

Before you purchase, let's do a little testing. It is definitely possible to configure the discussion forum for French under "My Profile" - but I understand that you, as the forum owner, want the default for anyone visiting the forum to be French.

Let me see if there's already some method of accomplishing this in the interface.

Thanks Mark for your quick reaction. Yes, that's it. I want the default in French for anyone visiting my upcoming forum and I look forward to hearing from you on that matter in the days to come and I hope you'll find a solution as soon as possible. There is a large public of hundres of million non english speaking people that Localendar.com is missing. That's a huge market to conquer provided that the default menue is also availbale in diverse languages - french as far as I'm concerned.

Regarding the translation of all menues into French, I can do it for Localandar.com without any cost on your side.

I'm going to try and set up some forums under your account in French. Let me see what I can accomplish. All the translations should be done, but I welcome any corrections :-)

I enabled Premium Webmaster through 12/31/06, and I'm working on the test :-)

Thanks for making this possible. But at the moment I can't do so much as the Administration Link for the discussion board is not visible to me yet. I'm looking forward to accessing all the discussion board tool as soon as possible.

Sorry - had som eother site issues to attend to.

You should be able to sign out of these forums, then sign into your account at:

http://www.localendar.com/forums/lesivoiriens

and access the link to set up topics/categories.

Please let me know if you can't get at least that far, because then there's a different problem.

I was able to enter the forum you created for me by following your instructions. The problem is that there is no possibility to customize it when I get there. So I cannot customize the menues in french. Hope you'll be able to fix the problem.

Odd - were there any forums already created ; or there were none?

Did the Tools option exist in the top menu?

If you were already signed in to localendar, you might need to logout first and then log back in.
