What a great service you provide! Is there a way to just dump the calendar without the middleware export feature? When the calendar exports it does not change previously exported events, but our previously exported events get changed regurlarly and we have to maintain a "copy" of the calendar in an outlook file. Again is there a way to do a "daily data dump" as opposed to a sync of the localendar with the outlook calendar? |

You can try using our old Export page, which is still accessible at: http://www.localendar.com/elsie?JSP=Export Hope that helps! ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Marc, The old method still works... and works great. I, for one, would appreciate you keeping it around, like maybe as an option on the export page. BB |

Indeed the old export method works fine and provides us with a reliable backup (rush to post a printed outlook calendar) in case of a system outage. Localendar has been so reliable that we users sometimes forget that outages such as at the end of the month happen. The first time since the outage that I saw the "oops" message, I rushed in a panic to the csv backup only to find that localendar was back up. I'd STILL be willing to pay a little extra for a heads up when the system might be coming down. |

Yes, please retain the ability to dump the calendar into a .csv or .txt format. I, for one, would NEVER use Outlook for the security issues, not to mention that it's an overblown behemoth with features only teen-agers would appreciate. Also, I don't use any PALM devices. NOPE. When I leave work. I leave. You can't find me. No PALM needed. However, I DO use Sunbird -- an EXCELLENT calendar for desktop and more. pf |

iCal is coming soon as well... As for the "Opps!".. that's not caused by an outage (b/c no message would be displayed) but rather a bug or glitch somewhere. We recently added a "tracking #" to accompany the message, so we can link our logs more cleanly to the person reporting the issue. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
