You need to sign in to your paypal account and cancel it from there.

I did that two years ago and localendar is still stealing my money. I would certainly appreciate a refund of the 29.95 Localendar just stole again

I talked to PayPal and they said Localendar has to stop billing me, it's not up to PayPal

This is my account info
Amount: $29.95 USD
Date: Mar 20, 2008
Subscription Name: Premium Webmaster
Subscription Number: S-3EN94287M3893002E Item Number: 1234567890

That is not the case; so I know you did not talk to PayPal.

PayPal handles all auto-rebilling of subscriptions. If you want to cancel a subscription, all you have to do is go to PayPal and search for "Cancel Subscription". You will receive full instructions.

I see that you cancelled your subscription on Mar 21, 2008 so I guess you finally figured this out. It's not nice to accuse us of "stealing" or telling lies about talking to PayPal.

How do you cancel if you didn't use paypal? I didn't use paypal as I don't have paypal. I sent an email, but will it be ignored? They billed me a month early and I didn't want to renew it. I need to cancel it and have them credit my account.

I would think they would send an email before taking money out a month early. It would have been nice. Lucky I had the money in there early. So I need to cancel automatic renewel and get refund for the renewel I didn't want.

Thank you,
Susan

Okay so the debit does say paypal, but I dont have a paypal account. I guess I can block it in my bank so it wont autorenewel like I had to do with a hosting company that messed up and took out 2 times a month and messed up my account.

I want the easy way to cancel and not have to call paypal or someone else and sit on hold forever. Email cancellation is the best. Love your site and calendar, but you need to make it easy to cancel when people need to.

The only way we bill is through Paypal. We also accept payment by check (via snail mail)

If you have an auto-renewing subscription, there is no other way it could have been set up except through Paypal (and you'd have to have an account there in order to do it)

Once you sign into paypal, search for "Cancel Subscription" and the results will walk you though the process. No need to send emails, wait on hold, etc.

I called the number for paypal from the charge on my bank statement. They said they had no record of it in their systems and it is you not them. I am disputing it now with my bank and blocking from any more charges being taken out. My bank will figure out if it is paypal or not. But if it is paypal then they lie and say it's you. You say it's them.

Kinda hard to cancel anything when both say it is the other one doing the billing. I do not have a paypal account as I said before. I also have paid thru the paypal checkout for sites without me having to have a paypal account and have to sign in thru them to cancel or deal with the company I bought from.

I'll let you know what the bank tells me when they get back to me about the dispute. Maybe you should make a link on your site to show how to cancel easy without all these hassles. Somebody is being shady. It really doesn't look good when you have to go thru hoops to cancel something.

As I said, we retain absolutely no billing information for any member. Anyone who subscribes is taken directly to Paypal.

Your subscription was made through paypal. The subscription ID is:
S-58P6370839357644V. There is no question; I have an email receipt from them and one would have been sent to you as well.

You should reference that transaction id in any conversations you have with them.

Anyone who would like to know how to cancel a subscription need only search the Forums for "cancel subscription" as the topic has been discussed countless times here.
