Localendar is so greedy and predatory that they will steal money from former subscribers for services not provided!

What are you talking about? What a ridiculous statement. Regarding emails/the support forums, did you even read the auto-response generated to your email?

Also: All new members receive a free 30-day trial of premium services. The goal is to let members try the service before subscribing.

Greedy? Predatory? Ummm.. You had to sign yourself up to the service. We didn't "prey" on you. And if you have concerns that you feel we are not addressing, you can also appeal to PayPal.

Why not try and post your issue to the forums as instructed, rather than begin with name-calling?

I am moving this thread to General Discussion as it doesn't belong in the Announcements section.

You don't know what you're talking about!

I have repeatedly notified localendar about my change in e-mail address; that I did not authorize a 2007 subscription and DO NOT WANT IT; I have cancelled the "subscription" with paypal; the website that was linked to localendar no longer exists; I have sent e-mails to SUPPORT and to SALES, complete with all of the paypal information and STILL YOU REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY.

This has been going on since May 27th and I am fed up!

Why should I have to appeal to paypal? Are you guys so desperate for a lousy $29.95 that you have to steal it?!?
REFUND MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh - I guess I missed you at the last staff meeting.

Have you ever actually received any email from us saying we "refuse to refund your money"?

Or have you kept sending emails to an unmonitored address (as the auto-responder will tell you) and assuming that no response means "Tough"?

The forums are (as noted on the Contact Us page and the auto-response) the preferred means of contacting us. And I think you got a repose pretty quickly when you posted here - which incidentally had nothing to do with the demeanor of your message.

I have not sent ANY e-mails to an "un-monitored" address. I have repeatedly sent e-mails to sales@localendar.com (btw, the only contact that PayPal has for you folks), support@localendar.com and have also used the contact on this site. I have REPEATEDLY sent all of the information required to give me a refund FOR A SERVICE I DO NOT WANT AND AM NOT USING. EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL HAS BEEN IGNORED.

Your snotty attitude is exactly what I have come to expect from people WHO WILL NOT ANSWER E-MAILS. Your patronizing attitude is just further proof of what I have concluded about the honesty of people at localendar.

There is absolutely no excuse for ignoring all of my e-mails about my cancelled service. I have every right to be angry with this company.

Those email accounts are, in fact, unmonitored. The auto-responder tells you they are unmonitored. The contact form is the correct way to contact us, or the forums (as mentioned on that page). Unfortunately, you have repeatedly been using an incorrect method, not seen (or ignored) the response which tells you about the correct method (mail filter perhaps) and grown frustrated.

Since you have not responded with your paypal transaction id as requested, I still cannot issue you a refund.

Regarding attitude; I would suggest you re-read your initial posts to this forum.

 
I have every right to be angry with this company.


And I believe I have some right to defend myself from being unfairly assaulted, insulted, and slandered on the public forums.

PayPal has the only e-mail contact as sales@localendar.com AND you say this is an UNMONITORED e-mail addy. How much sense does that make?

Look for your company to be listed at rip-off websites.

How many times in this thread have I offered one but requested that you supply your Paypal transaction id? Twice is the answer - this is the third time.

I simply cannot refund your subscription without this information, and you have not provided it as requested.

Let me say this REAL CLEAR and REAL SLOW because you are talking past me and can't seem to grasp my complaint.

I HAVE ALREADY sent ALL of my PayPal transaction information MULTIPLE TIMES, using the CONTACT FORM, e-mail to SALES@LOCALENDAR.COM and SUPPORT@LOCALENDAR.COM.

My complaint is YOU FOLKS DON'T RESPOND TO E-MAILS HAVING TO DO WITH CHARGES FOR UNWANTED AND UNUSED SERVICE!

It is absurd to claim that the sales and support e-mail addys are "unmonitored", especially when PayPal has sales@localendar.com as their only e-mail contact.

My posts here are NOT INTENDED TO BE an excuse for you to verbally joust with me.
My posts here ARE INTENDED TO BE a warning for other "subscribers" that your company HAS IGNORED my efforts to get a refund for me and that they should be aware that it may happen to them.

If you or anyone else at localendar wanted to help me get my refund, it would have been done already.
Period.
End of story.
