I have published the calendar and the events I have saved are not showing up. Why not.

I have made them public and I can see them on the preview, when I try to publish them they are gone and the do not appear on the web page either.

While it appears you have set the default for *new* events to be public, the status of events you had already added remains private (blue on your calendar by default).

You need to open those events, switch them individually to public and then click Update
