I keep getting this error message when I try to update a catergory heading in my discussion group: "Error executing SQL in CategoryDAOImplJDBC.update."

I have sent a message to tech but have not received a reply.

Anybody got a work around or fix for this?

I did reply (somewhere) asking if you can send us the text you are using for a category name so we can try and duplicate the problem.

We are working on this issue (your message hasn't been ignored smile

The Discussion Forum is for www.bmoaonline.com (There is a link to the forum.)

The first catgory is "Genneral Topics" I realized I misspelled "Genneral" and have been attempting to correct it but get the error message everytime I try to fix the problem.

Problem solved (sort of)
There is an index on the Category name table in our database that isn't correct. It's trying to enforce unique category names for *all* localendar users. And since someone else already has a forum called "General", your change is being rejected. I renamed it something similar but spelled correctly for now.

To fix this issue, we'll have to temporarily take some databases offline, so this probably wont be fixed until this weekend.
