Made some color changes. Now using classic view with black background. The month forward/back arrows have disappeared (all options) and I can't get them back. Help would be appreciated. |

Have you gone into the color prefs editor, and selected "Arrow Buttons" from the drop-down at the top of the page? Next, you should see another dropdown titled "Arrow images used to navigate your calendar: " You should be able to select a new set from there (and click Save) Can you let me know if you observe any different behaviour or if this doesn't work for you? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Yes, I did everything you said, but the arrows (and I tried 'em all in the drop-down list) don't appear on the published calendar. This happens both with Firefox and IE. The arrows DO appear on the Month editing page, of course, just not on the published calendar. You said "click save". It's actually "save color preferences" on my screen. Just sayin', in case that's part of the problem. |

AH-ha! Sounds like you are using the regular embedded style calendar and not the "fully interactive" one (see the options on the Publish wizard) On that particular style, the month arrows don't appear because if they did, when a visitor clicked on one, the returned web page would take over the entire browser window - just like any normal link on the page would. Take a look at the fully-interactive embedded calendar. It uses an Iframe/ilayer to support the arrows. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

YES! You da man! Fully interactive publishing gave me the arrows. I adjusted the window height in the script per the note ... BUT ... The height setting that looks good for the current month in IE is not correct in FF, where the table bottom is getting clipped. I understand FF currently is not supported. AND ... In other months the calendar bottom also gets clipped if entries in the day boxes add up to greater total calendar height than in the other month. So to prevent clipping and loss of information on the published calendar in any month, all months must have the same total height in the day boxes. You can appreciate that it's tough to keep the number of events in any day box to a maximum. BTW ... I checked my Website HTML and I don't see my code restricting the calendar height. |

In the code you paste from localendar, there are comments about changing the height attribute on the pasted script to make sure the space allocated to the calendar is large enough so it won't be clipped. You could also change the scrolling attribute to Yes to add a scroll bar (when necessary) - but that doesn't look as good. Take a look - the height attribute is there! ![]() ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
