You can click the "Subscribe Now" link in the small box under the left nav menu or navigate directly to:

Below the Premium Personal column there is a "Subscribe Now!" button.

Is there a way to choose what kinds of google ads are put with our calendar? For example, just Christian ads.

No, because Google doesn't currently expose this functionality.. We continue to look at other ad solutions as Google isn't perfect in this regard.

Well so much for this product, the presence of ads makes it quite unprofessional for our uses so we will no longer be using this.

To remove ads you can purchase a Premium subscription for as little as $9.95/year.

The addition of Google ads is due to a pilot program we have been testing recently.

Calendars with at least a Premium Basic (9.95/yr) or greater subscription will not display any ads. That's about 83 cents a month.

Calendars w/ no subscription whatsoever may display ads. Since non-subscribing members are using hosting/editing services at no charge, this helps offset the associated costs.

Alternatively, we could raise subscription rates, but that doesn't seem fair to those members.

Since new members receive a 30-day free trial of Premium Webmaster, that might explain why some calendars do not display ads.

CONFUSED WITH THE PREMIUM CHART AND YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THE ADS BY GOOGLE. THE ICON SAYS NO ADS, YET UNDER COBRANDED THERE IS ALSO A STATEMENT THATS SAYS NO ADS WILL APPEAR. THIS IS CONFUSING. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE A SEPARATE STATEMENT UNDER COBRANDED ABOUT THE ADS IF THE ICON IS ALREADY ON ALL 4 PREMIUM SERVICES? THANKS.

Actually, it states under Premium Cobrander that "No Ads are shown on your Cobrander Administration account. Your cobranded members will still receive ads."

It is just pointing out that cobranded members will still have ads on their calendars with this plan. However, if you get the Premium Cobrander Deluxe the administrator and the members are ad free.
